Photo CD Scans
Spectra is now offering a new set up for basic scans. These scans are available for 35mm, 120mm and 4x5 negatives and positives (slides). Each image is scanned at 22MB (suitable to print sharply to 8x10), 9MB (suitable to print to 5x7), and 640x480 pixels (web resolution). All scans can be saved as jpegs (compressed, can open in web browsers) or tiffs (uncompressed, good for output). All scans are raw (they will need some cleaning and color correction).

Scitex 342L Flatbed Scanner
Our Scitex 342 flatbed is one of the world's finest flatbed scanners, with an optical resolution of 2540 dpi. Scitex scans are suitable for many different uses, including retouching, restoration, Iris, Roland, Colorspan Indigo and Heidelberg printing. The Scitex will handle reflective originals up to 11.8x17", and transparencies up to 8x10". Clean scans include color matching.

Agfa Arcus II flatbed
Agfa Arcus II flatbed scans are suitable for FPO's, small reproductions, or Web usage. The flatbed will accommodate reflective originals up to 8.5x14".

Nikon 8000 ED
The Nikon 8000 makes excellent scans from either 35mm or 120 film. With an optical resolution of 4000 dpi, the potential for scans from this device is extraordinary. These high quality scans can be used for nearly any purpose, including large format printing. Clean scans include color matching.

Spectra ImageCD
Our ImageCD software is a unique and powerful program that us to create a CD-ROM with customer images saved as JPEG in six resolutions along with Presenter software that allows images to be viewed on both Mac, and Windows computers.
