Digital Printing
Preparing Your Digital File for Printing:

Change your Photoshop color settings to work in “Colormatch RGB”
At Spectra, we work in the colormatch RGB settings in photoshop. This setting gives us the largest number of colors on screen.

Caliberate your monitor.
To bring your monitor's color closer to ours we suggest caliberating to the same file that we use. Dowload the Spectra_OleNoMoire_RGB file and use your monitor caliberation control panel to adjust the screen.

Open the file in photoshop. Then open your computer's monitor caliberation utility and adjust the settings until the file looks right.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR:
• Make sure that there are even steps between each tone. Often, the 80%, 90%, and 100% will blend together.
• The grays should be neutral, not too warm and not too cool.
• The background cloth should be a neutral gray.
• The skin tones should look alive.

Make sure you’ve got enough digital information (file size)
For us to produce beautiful prints we need large enough files. Refer to the chart to make sure that your file is large enough to print.
